Social Media Marketing? I just want to share my art work and see if somebody likes it or not. Maybe somebody might want some art to hang in their home or office. Imagine that. As you know there are a few choices out there at the social media carnival, and its way to easy to get distracted. You start out with a plan and good intentions, and before you know it, it's two in the morning and you're trying to figure out if you have accomplished anything or not. I found myself getting a little sideways in all of this, so I had to visualize something to help me keep focused... I found that if I just kept the following graphic in mind it helped me to focus. Not rocket science, not a break through, not even set in stone. Just making sure that all roads lead home.

Or most roads lead home anyway. This is not to say that everything you do has to have a sales pitch. I'm simply saying that if we are going to spend the time to market ourselves, make sure we have most of those valuable links pointed where they will do the most good for you. 8 more quick social media marketing reminders:- Make sure all your pinterest uploads have links to your blog or website.
- Share other worthwhile articles and information on your blog etc., just make sure you share yours too.
- You work hard to get people to find you. Once they have found you, don't be in such a hurry to tell them to go find you someplace else.
- Maybe you sell your stuff everywhere. Nice. If it's working, keep doing it.
- Social media is free in most cases. But it does take time. Be willing to invest some time to make it work for you.
- Always keep looking for high quality places to leave links going back to your site.
- Find the social media platform(s) you like and go with it. Who says you need to be involved with all of them?
- Things are constantly changing. Be ready & willing to adjust as time rolls on.
